No evidence of permission from the sculptor Emilio Greco, who died in 1995. No applicable freedom of panorama in Italy, see COM:FOP Italy Verbcatcher (talk) 17:56, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Kept: Permission was granted by various municipalities, bypassing FOP. There appears to be evidence to this at https://archivio.wikimedia.it/index.php/s/MRz2k7mWa8xswCJ?path=%2FTuscania%20(VT) but I cannot open it at the moment. If you have evidence that this permission claim is wrong please re-open the DR. --Gbawden (talk) 10:06, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Per the prior deletion request. Also, is the comune or city where this is located the relevant rightsholder of the work (that is, the sculptor surrendered his copyrights to the city)? There should be explicit permission through a COM:VRTS tag here and not just a static link. But even then, the link when opened seem to give empty content (0 of 0), at least in my case. Kept: The authorization is here. Sendind a permission to VRT is not the only way to give an authorization, see Commons:Volunteer_Response_Team#When_contacting_VRT_is_unnecessary, and since the WLM Italia authorization are a lot sending all of them to VRT would be higly unpractical. The giunta comunale of Pescia granted the permission with an official deliberation, so we can safely assume they have the right to do so. --Jaqen (talk) 08:06, 10 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
