Images of a library reading for children at Los Angeles Harbor College[edit]

A courtesy deletion is requested for these photos. See [1] The images were taken in a less-than-public setting, and show children, as well as showing a woman as main subject who may not have consented to having the pictures taken. I'd be inclined to grant this as a courtesy deletion; the original photographer has already done that on Flickr where they were originally published.

Delete I'd agree with that courtesy deletion. In my opinion children and/or their parents should be asked before images of them are uploaded to some public database with a cc license and I can fully understand that not all are aware what a cc license enables.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 00:10, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I, Tracie Hall, user ID: 54597574, need this, and others from this date and place removed. The subjects want them off of the Internet. I have removed these images from Flickr and need them removed from Wikimedia as soon as possible. Tracie Hall (talk) 22:25, 30 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Similar comments were made on some, but not all, of these; they were similar enough that I see no point in reproducing them.: Jmabel ! talk 03:18, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Speedy delete. subject displayed (child library scenes) easily replaceable. no loss to commons' repertoire. RZuo (talk) 11:33, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's only been a day or so, but we clearly have a strong consensus to grant a speedy courtesy deletion here, which I will do. - Jmabel ! talk 19:53, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
